FATE Mini-conference Program

1:00-1:10: Welcome
1:10-2:15: Session #1
2:15-2:30: Break
2:30-3:30: Session #2
3:30-5:00: Gallery Reception
4:00: Gallery Talk (probably 40 minutes)
5:00: pack up your work if you are taking it home with you

Our goals with this Regional Event were to have a group exhibition, and to have a chance for us to gather and share our ideas and experiences. We are thrilled with the exhibition and look forward to meeting all of you. Our mini-conference is not very long, and a high number of you have offered to share/present your assignment. So, we will have a limited amount of time for each presentation. We hope that everyone can stay for the reception, and we encourage additional social time after the reception is over (perhaps at Market Alley Wines for drinks or the Bijou or Landmark (in Galesburg) for dinner).

Notes to Presenters:
1. Presentations will last only 5 minutes. Please prepare carefully and be aware that you may not have a lot of time for contextualization or narratives.
2. Next to your name below is the pdf file you submitted earlier. This will be copied and provided to the other participants at the conference, please make sure it is what you intend to present. Changes must me made by March 28th. (Some of these pages don't have names on them; since we are not printing out everyone's resume page from the gallery book, you might want to edit this file.)
3. We imagine two ways for these presentations to go:
  • You could present only based on your pdf handout.
  • You could give a digital presentation (preferably a powerpoint or pdf). If you do wish to show a digital presentation, please email the file to MonmouthArt@gmail.com by March 30th.
