Lincoln Trail Art Festival

Since 2009, 11 area High Schools have participated in this annual festival hosted by the Monmouth Art Department
Participating schools include:

United
Wethersfield
West Central

Art Exhibition - Glennie Gymnasium

High School students bring a examples of their best artworks and put them on display in the Gym.
Judges, Brian and Stephanie Baugh, select winners in multiple categories and talk about the winning artworks.
Art should be on display by 4:00pm; the judges comments begin at 6:45.

Art Workshop - McMike Academic

High School students will participate in a workshop called, "Super Surfaces" led by Stacy Lotz with the assistance of other Monmouth College Art students. Using both 2-D and 3-D materials students will create a variety of textured pieces/parts that will then be used to cover life-size forms in creation of a massive, full-wall installation piece. 
Workshop last from 4:00-5:40.
