These studio courses are offered at both a 200- and a 300- level. This distiction allows students to take a course for a second time (to complete advanced or independant work in that area) and it is a way to acknowledge art majors who are at an advanced level, even though they may not have had a course in the specific area before. Always register for the 200- level unless you have already completed 6 courses in the art department.
